HPX Turbo-Fan Engine Range

Mock up of the HPX Turbo-Fan

The HPX Turbo-Fan engine is the latest development for Microjet. Like the Turbo-Prop design it will be structured upon our proven HF family of engine units. The range has been designed to provide from 180 lbs to 650 lbs thrust. Once again offering an alternative to the piston engine and catering for consumer demand for mid-range engines. The benefits of this engine will reflect some of those advancements that the Turbo-Prop can provide, these include:-

  • Versatile in its end application, now including the development into experimental aviation aircraft,

  • Multi-fuel capability,

  • High power to weight ratio,

  • Greatly improved fuel consumption against comparable pure jets,

  • Extended service intervals based on the greater structural integrity of the engine design,

  • Low maintenance costs,

  • Reduction in noise levels, environmentally more acceptable.
