| Since its initial design in 1983 the HF30, now rebranded as the FXR30, has undergone several upgrades, resulting in overall reductions in diameter, length and weight, whilst the thrust has been increased by 40%. The improvements have created an engine with superior performance and increased lifetime. It achieved first place in the 2001 Gas Turbine Association annual fuel efficiency competition. | |
